2. 非送信の保証

すべての変換・圧縮処理はお手元のブラウザ内だけで実行されます。

3. 個人情報の不収集

文書の中身や個人を特定できる情報を収集・保管することはありません。

4. ローカルストレージの利用

画面のダーク/ライトテーマや言語選択の設定保存にのみlocalStorageを使用します。

2. How Your Files Are Handled (Zero-Retention Guarantee)

When you drag and drop or select a file (such as a PDF, DOCX, JPG, or PNG) on PDFLOL:

• Local Memory Execution: The file is read directly into your web browser’s local sandbox via HTML5 File APIs.
• Client-Side Engine: All document conversions, merging, pagination, and compression algorithms execute entirely on your device’s CPU and memory via WebAssembly (Wasm) and JavaScript.
• No Cloud Uploads: At no point is the file transmitted over the internet to PDFLOL or any remote server.
• Immediate Memory Release: Once you download your transformed document or close the browser tab, the temporary memory buffer is freed immediately. We do not retain, log, or inspect your files.

3. Information We Do Not Collect

Because of our client-side architecture, we do NOT collect or store:

• Document filenames, metadata, or file contents.
• Personally Identifiable Information (PII) such as your name, email, or telephone number (unless you voluntarily email our support team).
• Payment or credit card information (PDFLOL is 100% free with no paywalls or billing).

4. Cookies & Local Storage Usage

PDFLOL is designed to operate without intrusive tracking cookies or marketing beacons. We only utilize your browser’s standard localStorage for essential client preferences:

• Theme Preference: Storing your preferred color theme (light or dark mode) so you don’t need to toggle it on every page load.
• PWA State: Storing your Progressive Web App installation prompt dismissal status.

You can clear your browser's local storage at any time via your browser settings without impacting your ability to use our utilities.

5. Content Delivery Network & Web Hosting

PDFLOL’s static website assets (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, WebAssembly bundles, and webfonts) are distributed globally via Cloudflare’s secure Content Delivery Network (CDN) to provide fast load times. Cloudflare may process basic technical connection telemetry (such as IP address and user-agent) strictly for network DDoS protection, security firewalling, and routing.

6. GDPR & CCPA Compliance

Under the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA):

• No Personal Data Sale: We do not sell, rent, or monetize your personal data or document contents under any circumstances.
• Right of Access & Deletion: Because we do not collect or store your files, we hold no document records to inspect or delete — your privacy is automatically guaranteed by design.

7. Security Practices

PDFLOL enforces HTTPS encryption (TLS 1.3) across the entire domain. All communication with our static CDN is protected by strict transport security (HSTS), ensuring safe delivery of client-side scripts to your device.
